When should I plan my hire for my event?

Our general rule of thumb is to plan your hire as early as possible. This is to ensure that we are able to provide our services on your required date.

We do take short notice hire agreements, however these are generally 14 days prior to the event date. This is to allow us to ensure we have all the stock required prepared and ready to deliver to your event.

If you do require one of our products for your event and it is short notice, please contact our friendly team as we may have availability and be able to support you.

We understand that in some instances you may be required to cancel your rental from Crackin Candy Events and thats ok!

We operate a 14 day cancelation policy. If you were to cancel your rental agreement more than 14 days before your event, all monies paid, excluding your deposit, will be refunded using your original payment method.

If you cancel your agreement with less than 14 days to your event, a 50% cancelation charge will be applied to your account. For example if your original agreement total was for £690, a charge of £345 will be payable.

Can Crackin Candy Events provide alcohol for my event?

Due to Scottish Licensing Laws, Crackin Candy Events can not provide alcohol for events unless we apply for a temporary premises licence. Normally this would be done for venues where there is no premises licence granted by the local council. If you are holding an event in a venue that has no premises licence for the provision of alcohol, Crackin Candy Events may be able to obtain a temporary licence for you. At Crackin Candy Events we fully understand that during the COVID-19 Pandemic our customers face uncertainty regarding their event. We are fully aware of venue’s policies in relation to specific items not being permitted due to Health and Safety during these times.

If you require to cancel your hire agreement with us due to your chosen venue’s COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy, we would require confirmation from your venue before we can process a full refund. Your chosen venue can email this confirmation to events@crackincandyevents.co.uk
