Part of Crackin Candy Events terms and conditions is to hold a £50 security deposit to cover for such instances.
If an item does become damaged we will deduct the reaper/replacement cost from the security deposit with any difference being returned within 7 days.
For damage over £50, Crackin Candy Events will retain the security deposit towards the repair/replacement.
Crackin Candy Events will not charge more that £50 for damages to one particular item. Should no damage occur then the full £50 security deposit will be returned within 7 days.

We at Crackin Candy Events carry a comprehensive insurance policy to cover venues, individuals and Crackin Candy Events in the event of loss, damage or injury. A copy of our current insurance certificate can be requested at the time of booking. To remain competitive we may sometimes switch our insurer and would advise to request a recent certificate of insurance closer to your event.
We sometimes throughout the year offer discounted services such as Candy Cart rental or mood lighting. These promotions however can sell out quickly. Our most popular promotion is our multi-rental promotion with up to 20% off when hiring 2 or more services from Crackin Candy Events. As a family run business we currently do not have the requirement for a showroom. If however you would like to discuss your services and see some examples, we are more than happy to invite you to sit down with us over a coffee and show you what products we offer and spend time looking at your specific needs.
Due to Scottish Licensing Laws, Crackin Candy Events are unable to supply any alcoholic beverages with any of our rented/purchased items. Should you be hiring our beautiful Prosecco wall, please note that rental only covers up to the supply of the flutes and that no alcohol is included.
At Crackin Candy Events, the environment is a big concern for us, and we endeavour to proactively reduce our waste and increase our recycling. We use a minimal amount of single use plastics (for hygiene reasons), what is subsequently recycled in a conscientious manner.
In fact we do. If you have been referred from a previous customer of Crackin Candy Events you are entitled to a £20 discount on a minimum spend of £100. For every person your friend refers they get a free box of Thornton’s chocolates delivered to their door. Our refer a friend scheme can not be used in conjunction with any other special offer, discount or promotion.
This is no problem. We are happy to hire our services anywhere where they are required. Services provided further afield will incur additional charges what will be discussed with you at the time of booking. We ensure our charges are not excessive and are in line with the associated costs.
Delivery is included complementary within a 20 mile radius of KA8 (Ayrshire). Delivery out with this area is charged at an additional £0.20 per mile.
A member of Crackin Candy Events will confirm exact delivery and collection times for your items when confirming your booking. We aim however to have items delivered and setup approximately 1 hour prior to the requested time. This allows us time to lay finishing touches and make your item perfect. Depending on the size and type of event determines how long before the event that you should order. We operate a minimum order period of 14 days (subject to availability) . This allows us to ensure we are able to fulfil your order.
To ensure that you get everything that you would like, we recommend placing your order as soon as possible.
We understand that in some instances you may be required to cancel your rental from Crackin Candy Events and thats ok!
We operate a 14 day cancelation policy. If you were to cancel your rental agreement more than 14 days before your event, all monies paid, excluding your deposit, will be refunded using your original payment method.
If you cancel your agreement with less than 14 days to your event, a 50% cancelation charge will be applied to your account. For example if your original agreement total was for £690, a charge of £345 will be payable.
At Crackin Candy Events we do everything we can do to avoid foods where allergens exist and try to prevent any cross contamination. We can not provide certainties however that items are not produced in factories where allergens may be present. Your exact requirements will be discussed with you at the time of inquiry.
At Crackin Candy Events we are always looking at ways to increase our offerings. If you are looking for something different then please let us know. We will work with you to understand your requirements and explore the possibility of adding your request to our stock list.
