At Crackin Candy Events, we predominately cover the West and Central Scotland. However we are always happy to provide our services where ever they are required. We currently offer free delivery to events within a 20 mile radius of our showroom. Any event that is outwit the initial 20 mile radius will attract a delivery fee. Our charges are not excessive and are in line with associated costs.

At Crackin Candy Events, the environment is a big concern for us, and we endeavour to proactively reduce our waste and increase our recycling. We use a minimal amount of single use plastics (for hygiene reasons), what is subsequently recycled in a conscientious manner.

Can Crackin Candy Events provide alcohol for my event?

Due to Scottish Licensing Laws, Crackin Candy Events can not provide alcohol for events unless we apply for a temporary premises licence. Normally this would be done for venues where there is no premises licence granted by the local council. If you are holding an event in a venue that has no premises licence for the provision of alcohol, Crackin Candy Events may be able to obtain a temporary licence for you. We sometimes throughout the year offer discounted services such as Candy Cart rental or mood lighting. These promotions however can sell out quickly. Our most popular promotion is our multi-rental promotion with up to 20% off when hiring 2 or more services from Crackin Candy Events. We at Crackin Candy Events carry a comprehensive insurance policy to cover venues, individuals and Crackin Candy Events in the event of loss, damage or injury. A copy of our current insurance certificate can be requested at the time of booking. To remain competitive we may sometimes switch our insurer and would advise to request a recent certificate of insurance closer to your event.

At Crackin Candy Events we are always looking at ways to increase our offerings. If you are looking for something different then please let us know. We will work with you to understand your requirements and explore the possibility of adding your request to our stock list.

At Crackin Candy Events we do everything we can do to avoid foods where allergens exist and try to prevent any cross contamination. We can not provide certainties however that items are not produced in factories where allergens may be present. Your exact requirements will be discussed with you at the time of inquiry.

What happens if something gets damaged during my rental?

Part of Crackin Candy Events terms and conditions is to hold a £50 security deposit to cover for such instances.

If an item does become damaged we will deduct the reaper/replacement cost from the security deposit with any difference being returned within 7 days.

For damage over £50, Crackin Candy Events will retain the security deposit towards the repair/replacement.

Crackin Candy Events will not charge more that £50 for damages to one particular item. Should no damage occur then the full £50 security deposit will be returned within 7 days.

When should I expect delivery of my items?

A member of Crackin Candy Events will confirm exact delivery and collection times for your items when confirming your booking. We aim however to have items delivered and setup approximately 1 hour prior to the requested time. This allows us time to lay finishing touches and make your item perfect. At Crackin Candy Events initially we will request a deposit with the final amount due approximately 6 weeks before the event.

Can rentals be customised to my event theme?

Can rentals be customised to my event theme?

All our items available for hire can be customised to particular colour themes. In order to reach the closest match we would ask for a sample picture so we can match our fabrics. We will try our upmost to match perfectly however Slight shade differences should be expected.

How do I pay my deposit?

We have a number of ways in which you can pay your deposit for your rental.

  • Pay over the phone by debit or credit card
  • Direct bank transfer
  • Cash

Your deposit must be made at time of booking with final balance due 14 days before event date.
